shrine of the yatra – Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3,164 meters from
the sea level. Devotees believed that this is the origin of Yamuna River

as well as international visitors. Take a holy dip in a “Kund” located close to
the temple. The second shrine of the yatra – Gangotri is situated at an
altitude of 3,200 meters from the sea level. The white colour temple constructed
with eye-catching architecture style is devoted to goddess Ganga. Here tourists
can enjoy the scenic beauty of river Ganga which is the most important river
for Hindus. To offer prayer in the temple one needs to take a bath in the holy
water of Ganga River. The third shrine of the yatra - Kedarnath is situated at
an altitude of 3,584 meters from the sea level. The temple is devoted to Lord
Shiva. During winter deities’ worship in the temple brought to Ukhimath and
worshipped here for 6 months. Among all these four sites, this shrine is the
